Penthouse has announced this weekend at the 2011 AVN Show in Las Vegas that it will be launching a 3D Channel this year. The list of 3D movies that were released in 2010 is ridiculous and new titles seem to be flying at us like mad. In our industry, Dominic Ford’s Whorrey Potter and the Sorcerer’s Balls, done in 3D won a Grabby and a GayVn award last year.

Late last month, BelAmiOnline announced they were releasing what it called their first ever 3D scene shot in conjunction with Dominic Ford. A total of four BelAmi 3D scenes were filmed in Ibiza last year, the scenes will be rolled out online this year and will be a part of a DVD release coming forth later this year.

Penthouse Announces the World’s First 3D Channel

PENTHOUSE 3D will compliment the already successful and growing PENTHOUSE HD Channel  lineup covering over 30 platforms in more than 15 countries, reconfirming Penthouse’s long standing position as the leader in entertainment and emerging media. Now, more than ever, the viewer will have choices to enjoy and explore all versions of Penthouse content in conjunction with the growing range of available cutting edge technologies.

The PENTHOUSE 3D Channel is expected to be available to system operators for broadcast to the general public in the second quarter of 2011.
