David Forest, who has been connecting fans of xxx male adult stars to their favorites for over 30 years, has found that it’s all about making the private meetings very lucrative for the stars. For the ones that haven’t been available (or wanted) to do “privates,” Forest says that, “If the price is right,” they won’t refuse.

The ultra-popular (and most requested) video & internet stars (both gay and straight) will jump at the chance to earn $3000 for a 1-night private meeting (not an abnormal amount, these days, for the major stars/meetings).

With the fees for filming and live appearances generally down … private meetings can boost a stars’ yearly income by thousands of dollars.  Several stars have recently changed or dropped their exclusive affiliations in order to keep up their income.

Many of these folks will also be apt to consider “private meetings,” if the price is right.

There seems to be a problem when some stars’ names are included in promos for the private meetings  … even though most of these fellows had no problem with this when they began. So, from now on, Forest’s ads/promotion for his “Meet The Stars” program will state, “We’ll connect you to any star that does private meetings.”

He encourages his clients to contact him about ANY star they’d like to meet. And claims, if the price is right, it will happen.

Many stars have made the “privates” a part of their adult business all along. Forest is now encouraging any new stars he signs (for management) to include the “fan appreciation meetings,” from the beginning, as an integral part of their yearly income.    They cannot rely on movie/internet shoots and/or live appearances to live on. The fees for those areas are becoming smaller and smaller.

On his “Meet The Stars” Unlimited Program, clients pay a very reasonable flat fee to be able to request connections to the stars they want  to meet over the course of the year. If it’s a star that hasn’t been doing privates …  Forest encourages a major offer ($3000) so he can deliver the star to them.

Ten years ago, David Forest had completed his three years of parole (after 19 ½ months of incarceration in the California prison system – for pandering).  It was at that time (June, 2001) that he launched MEET THE STARS, where clients pay an annual fee for the privilege of having Forest’s undivided matchmaking attention whenever they get the urge.

This is a funny but yet icky look into the lifestyle of veteran adult talent manager, David Forest, and arguably the world’s most famous male madam. Let me begin with some background, or if you rather simply skip to the bottom of this article and read the facts of the crimes as documented by a California Appeals Court …

In 1993 Los Angeles police responded to a trashed hotel room rented by Porn Star, Ryan Idol and discovered incriminating documents implicating David Forest in organized prostitution. Forest was charged with pandering. He plead no contest to the charges and was sentenced to 3 years in prison. Forest however appealed the judgement of the court and remained free on bail. Shortly following that he was arrested again for pandering and his bail revoked and would later serve a year and a half in California’s penal system and was paroled in 1998.

Two years later, Forest was back on top of his game and had signed a number of A-List stars to his roster and created his Meet The Stars program. Forest maintained then that the Meet The Stars program was not illegal but was aboveboard because clients paid only one up-front fee to merely be introduced to to a “star”. Nonetheless, again he was arrested and charged for pandering. More problems compounded when rumors of drug dealing surmounted and porn star Cody Cash was arrested for drug sale charges.

On February 8, 2006 Forest was found “NOT GULITY” on the charges of pandering and pimping. Less than a month later, Forest was arrested again for possession narcotics and after 5 days in jail was released on bail.

In the Spring of 2007 following a police investigation that started on CraigsList.com, Forest had placed classified ads on the website seeking guys no older than age 25 to enjoin him for sex and drugs (a/k/a Party and Play PNP). As a result of 2 different ads, posted in spanned timeline, Forest was arrested again.

In 2009, while he remained on appeal from the drug charges of spring 2007, David Forest told Paul Bookstabber, a columnist for NakedSword.com that in spite of his own use of Craigslist, that Craigslist was “an amateur hot dog stand” and “a cancer” on the escorting business.

In September 2010 David Forest, and once again, Cody Cash were arrested by Glendale, California police for felony drug possession charges. The matter remains pending on the docket in an LA Superior Court.

The foregoing Appeals Court decision, of which was ordered to not be published, affirms Forest’s drug conviction and explains why. The document also describes significant details of the police investigation of Spring 2007.

Last Thursday night’s (May 12, 2011) RYAN IDOL appearance at Micky’s,  part of the current FOREST COCKTAILS in MAY, was one of our greatest Cocktails with the Stars events of all times. Ryan was fabulous, Chi Chi LaRue (who directed many of Ryan’s greatest adult movies) was in top form, DJ Pornstar (Dominic Pacifico) was sexy and worked out great for the occasion … and … I was “beaming.”

Ryan really delivered a great show for everyone. It was probably his last appearance in the adult arena. We had worked very hard preparing for the night … and, it came off without a hitch. Our hostess with the mostess, Scotty B, was perfect. Richard Halpern helped out and the folks at Micky’s were wonderful.

Thursday night, Feb. 3, was a Micky’s COCKTAILS event that won’t be equaled soon. Micky’s upstairs lounge was packed with porn stars, adult film directors, writers, production people, interested fans and more.  Chi Chi LaRue, Jake Cruise, Billy Masters, Ross Cannon (Jet Set cameraman & studio mgr.), Paul Nichols (gay event producer) and others enjoyed the FabScout stars, TRENT DIESEL and DYLAN ROBERTS, as host, Scotty B, brought them on stage to be interviewed.

The lone Premiere Artist, JAMES JAMESSON, came on in the last hour, to everyone’s delight.  He was the ONLY star that had been booked in advance (and was advertised) by David Forest, who produced the night for Micky’s.  Diesel and Roberts weren’t confirmed until last Monday, 3 days prior to the event.  Forest waited until the last minute to add the support acts, knowing that the Cybersocket Awards (which is Mon., 2/7) would surely bring some hot stars to town  (as was the case with Dylan and Trent).

JAMESSON told Scotty B that he and ROBERTS became friends during middle school (in a small town north of SF) … and have kept the friendship going for the past 10 years.

Howard Andrew and David Forest, who had not appeared together since their July 1, 2008 press conference (Universal Hilton Hotel – announcing that Forest had sold his entertainment company to Andrew) took the stage for the final portion of the evening.  Much to their surprise, CHI CHI LaRUE had been asked to be the moderator for this special segment.  They talked openly about model salaries, the “private meeting” situation and much more.

For the finale, Scotty B had all of the adult stars in the room come up on stage, introduce themselves and pose for photos.

Micky’s in West Hollywood, California  hosts a special, Cocktails with the Stars on Thursday. February 3, 2010 from 6 to 9 in the evening (PST) featuring talent representatives, David Forest and Howard Andrew. Moreso featured are their boys of gay porn; James Jamesson, Dylan Roberts, Trent Diesel and Tony Starr.

As usual, patrons will be able to get autographs from the stars and maybe win a new movie. Cocktails, the most successful and longest running gay porn weekly event in the world (in its 16th year) relies on talent sources, like David and Howard, to keep coming up with new stars for the 52 shows each year.

Yesterday, Howard Andrew tweeted us confirming the mixer. The last time the two of these guys were together, Andrew served a civil court proceeding on Forest. The lawsuit was later dismissed by the California court. Some years ago David sold his agency to Howard. The dispute was along the lines of Howard accusing David of violation of their sales contract/no compete agreement.

David Forest says that his list includes: the non-stop fight for safe sex and the need for testing, better deals (from the talent’s side) and the problem of “compilations, piracy, best of’s” and other forms of release that historically pay nothing to adult talent.

David,  whose The Premiere Artists is the oldest talent firm in the gay porn industry (opened in summer of 1981) started handling male erotic stars after he tumbled out of the mainsteam music business.  The 62 year old David has flown out his brand new porn pup, Tony Starr to appear at Thursday night’s event and  Monday night’s, Cybersocket Awards. James Jamesson has signed with talent management company, The Premiere Artists according to recent press releases submitted by the company. James, the red-haired 21 yr. old, originally from Santa Rosa, California, and currently lives in San Francisco but he’s spending more and more time in Los Angeles where he plans to live. “The celebrity buyers were obviously very nervous about this. They would maybe have a friend call me first. They’d make up names and, of course, I’d find out who it was. I’d find out because the boys would tell me about it later.  That’s how it happened several times with the “2nd boy” that would go to a certain client’s home.  Usually, the 2nd boy would end up getting me the “2nd client” as a new customer.   Rocky, rest his sole, was the 2nd boy sent to Malibu one night … and, Calvin Klein was so impressed with Rocky that he signed up for my “yearly program.”  Speaking of Calvin, I think it’s funny how they wrote about his new “hottie” being a kid who had done some xxx stuff.  That “kid” is surely not the type that Calvin would usually want from me. But, I guess his date for a function is one thing … his date for bed is another.“

“The 2nd boy sent to that same certain client’s “in town” home came back to tell me that “his” man was very famous.  More famous now that he’s going back to do round 2 in Sacramento.“

“I thought it was kind of “neat” when a hot, non-escort/non-porn/non client,  friend of mine (aspiring actor, loved my concerts and nightclub shows … now grown up and about to have his 1st big big movie success …. writer/director of “Burlesque”) called me to have a boy “sent” to a friend of his (he didn’t pay for the boy … he was just the casting gal).  Well, the “friend” is now “dreaming” about boys in his Federal Prison cell.
