Cobra Killer Book Truly Delivers!

In Cobra Killer: Gay Porn, Murder and the Manhunt to Bring the Killers to Justice, authors Andrew E. Stoner and Peter A. Conway tell for the first time in full detail the twisted story of a pair of young, aspiring gay adult film producers whose quest for fame at any cost leads to the gruesome murder of the man who stands in their way, gay porn entrepreneur Bryan Kocis.

News of the killing of the forty-four-year-old (stabbed twenty-eight times, his throat slashed to near decapitation) in his suburban home sends shock waves through the bucolic Pennsylvania town. Neighbors were horrified to hear about the murder but equally astonished to learn that Kocis ran a small but thriving online porn operation from his home.

The murder investigation leads police and prosecutors to the far reaches of the country, from Virginia to New York City, to Las Vegas, and ultimately to a nude beach in San Diego, where investigators facilitate an incredible clandestine suspect surveillance. The manhunt nets Harlow Cuadra and his lover Joseph Kerekes, both former military men, turned male models, turned hustlers, turned porn producers, who finally land at the bottom of a deadly conspiracy.

Cobra Killer takes readers into the sometimes alluring, sometimes dangerous and often surprising world of gay porn and the deceit, schemes, and ultimate betrayals lying underneath the fantasy.

“Truly Delivers An Assembly of Thought Provoking Material Parallel to the Official Record.” GayPornGossip

The book, Cobra Killer, Gay Porn, Murder and the Manhunt to Bring the Killers to Justice is a wholly accurate account of the events that transpired leading up to and following the gruesome murder of Bryan Kocis, one of the first internet-age amateur gay porn filmmakers.

Cobra Killer lays the facts out and blends detailed background information giving the reader the ability to see the complete picture of a dark and seedy gay adult entertainment industry that serves as the landscape for a shockingly evil murder and the twisted exploits of two lovers who would craft an almost incomprehensible facade to cover their remorseless deadly deed.

Peter’s ability to guide the reader through a series of very complicated circumstances is remarkable. The why-when-where and how is all laid out with stark and unambiguous details on each and every page. Cobra Killer truly delivers an assembly of thought provoking material parallel to the official record.

Editor’s Personal Note:

Brent Corrigan and Grant Roy both have a long standing personal and business association with GayPornGossip’s primary holding company. It’s by this association with both Grant and Brent I’ve became privy to much of the information covered in Peter’s book in respect to Grant and Brent’s involvement with the late, Bryan Kocis, Joe and Harlow, the convicted murderers and the investigation and trial at least from the perspective of Grant and Brent of which they have shared with me.

Grant nor Brent were never open to the notion of collaborating with Peter Conway or anyone else for that matter who may have wanted to document the case in the public forum. However, both Grant and Brent have read Cobra Killer and have related to me that the book’s account is quite accurate but convey some disgruntlement with how the book attempts to project their relationship and inaccurate accounts of how they (Grant and Brent) initially met one another and several other subjective and or circumstantial references that they believe Cobra Killer attempts to project about them in a light more or less unfavorable or misleading to the reader.

(L-R) Brent Corrigan, Harlow Cuadra, Grant Roy. Las Vegas, Nevada – 2007. This is the very night where the story starts.

Obviously anyone reading the book can draw their own conclusion. Think whatever you may, but Grant Roy was a loving, caring and generous boyfriend to Brent. I cannot refrain from defending Grant’s relationship with Brent whether it be in the good times or the bad times. Nor could I refrain from defending Brent.  Neither are engaged in an intimate relationship with one another any longer and while their once was some troubles between them, those troubles have cleared up and the two of them remain very close friends. Grant is now married to a very good looking and talented photographer and Brent is climbing the ladder and paving quiet the career for himself in the mainstream independent film industry and is now 26 years old. In fact I should be addressing him as Sean Paul Lockhart … but as a rag writer he will always be Brent Corrigan to me.

My personal opinion is that both of them are really glad to have this matter behind them and do very well keeping their opinions of the case out of the public forum. I think their silence or avoidance of this topic abounds out of respect for the people who were shattered and weaved into this drama and out of mere humility. The events of 2007 through 2009 were some difficult and challenging times for everyone involved in this case.

Kudos to Peter Conway and Andrew Stoner for belaboring such task to document and publish Cobra Killer, Their book is what I’d call the actual final chapter of this tragedy … a tragedy that in my opinion shattered many people’s lives and literally destroyed the lives of 3 human beings.
