Chi Chi Larue’s Stripper Circus Presents Book Release Party For X-Factor finalist, Storm Lee!

This Wednesday, March 14th, author/recording artist and former X Factor finalist Storm Lee will make his first ever public apperance in West Hollywood, holding the release party for his new book, “In Case of Emergency,” at the popular nightspot Here Lounge (696 N. Robertson Blvd.) for Chi Chi LaRue’s “Stripper Circus.” LaRue herself will DJ the evening’s festivities – and to match the theme of the book’s title, a dozen dancers will be in vintage lifeguard gear, pressed exclusively for this event courtesy Andrew Christian underwear. Doors open at 9:00 pm with open bar until 11:00 pm!

Since storming into our living rooms as a finalist X Factor in 2010, Storm Lee has gone onto become a multi-faceted pop prodigy. An accomplished singer, songwriter and author, Storm is most known for his emotional and show-stopping live performances. Immediately following his X Factor debut, the artist formed StormWorks, self-releasing his 2011 debut record, “Soulfillapopkilla.” Packed with electro-pop songs, critics hailed it a bold first effort from a self-made artist. His first book release “I Eat Neon,” quickly followed; a collection of raw poetry scribbled on everything from napkins to take-out menus during his days indulging in New York City’s underground club scene.

Storm has been nominated for a Latin Grammy Award and, in addition to lending his voice to recordings from countless artists including Ricky Martin, Meatloaf and Carrie Underwood, he can be heard as a vocalist on over a hundred songs for FOX television’s #1 hit show, “Glee.”

“In Case of Emergency” is Storm Lee’s second book. It will be available to purchase online next Wednesday at his official web site,

Currently Storm is working on the movie, “Rock of Ages,” starring Tom Cruise and is in the studio recording his sophomore album, “God Save the Queens,” out later this year.

“I have been a big Storm fan since I first saw him on X Factor and to have had the opportunity to meet him recently was really cool,” says LaRue. “Storm is quite wacky, wild and incredibly intelligent – all the things I love! I’m very excited to be collaborating with him on this very special night.”
