Chi Chi Larue Shares Best Director Award With Fellow Nominees

Channel 1 Releasing was honored at last night’s 12th annual Grabby Awards ceremony in Chicago with a total of seven awards, four of which went to the studio’s 2009 blockbuster “Taken: To The Lowest Level”Best All-Sex Movie, Best Director, Best Box Cover and Best Solo to C1R superstar ADAM KILLIAN. including

The show, hosted by C1R exclusive director CHI CHI LARUE also saw C1R taking home Best Ethnic Themed Video for “Black Balled 7: Jail Slammed”, Best Cum Shot Scene for “Gridiron Gangbang” and Best Rimming Scene to JEREMY BILDING and BENJAMIN BRADLEY for “Tread Heavy”.

But it was CHI CHI LARUE’s acceptance speech for Best Director for which she tied with director CHRIS WARD that shined as one of the brightest highlights of the evening, when she asked every director nominated in the category to join her on stage and share the award. “I’m going to break it up into pieces for each of us,” said LARUE. “We’ve been through a tough year with the piracy and the economy and we are all still standing here and making incredible movies and we all deserve this award.”
